Fly: If you are flying, the closest airport to Rutgers University is Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR).  Once you arrive at Newark Airport, Rutgers is about 30-40 minutes away by taxi/Uber.  There is also a train from the airport to the New Brunswick Train Station.

Train: If you are traveling by train, you will get off at the New Brunswick Train Station.  The Fiber Optic Materials Research Building is about a 10 minute taxi/Uber ride from the New Brunswick train station.
