For researchers in the Rutgers community:
The first consultation, per project and per client, is free of charge up to a half (or one) hour. These initial consultations are generally not available May-August.
Further consultations may require a fee, but these can be waived in part or in whole depending on the nature of the project and the willingness of the client to participate in one or more sessions of the class associated with the consulting program. Waivers may also be available to clients without funding support.
Hourly Rate:
- $300 dollars per faculty hour
- $80 dollars per student hour
- Fixed contracts (for long term, collaborative projects)
- Discounts (also some waivers) are available for students or faculty members who do not have any funding support
These fees do not include 5% overhead costs (for computing, essential copying and printing, etc. on machines in the department). The above rates apply for 2024-2025 academic year.
